Together with Gabi Breitenbach, we contributed six light painting photos to the group exhibition 'Painting and photography' (Arte e Fotografia - Spaziare) at Galleria Sesto Calende from 18 to 29 June 2021. Until 19 October 2021, these and more photos were then exposed at Sirio Hotel in Dormelletto Ticino.
Opening on Friday, 18 June 2021 at 3 PM with Sesto Calende vice mayor Edoardo Favaron.

From July to mid-October 2021, these and more photos were then displayed at Sirio Hotel Lago Maggiore in Dormelletto (NO), Piemonte, Italy.
Photographers typically capture concrete visual snapshots of the real world. Painters, on the other hand, can freely imagine fictitious scenes and create an image that is not bound by the laws of physics.
In this small series, Gabi Breitenbach and I painted photographs using our cameras, by controlling photographic techniques such as long exposure, blurry focus and in-camera-movement.

I fotografi in genere catturano istantanee visive concrete del mondo reale. I pittori, invece, possono immaginare liberamente scene fittizie e creare un'immagine che non è vincolata dalle leggi della fisica.
In questa piccola serie, i fotografi tedeschi Gabi Breitenbach e Ralf Steinberger hanno dipinto fotografie usando le loro macchine fotografiche, controllando tecniche fotografiche come la lunga esposizione, la messa a fuoco sfocata e il movimento della fotocamera.
