The building by architect Frank Gehry and the large art installations are most impressive. They physically moved me. I was so pleased that I felt no need to ask what the meaning of the exhibits might be. The so-called 'Master Pieces' and the current temporary exhibitions moved me much less, except for the Argentinian artist SOTO, whose clever visual installations are impressive and amusing. Taking photos in the non-permanent exhibitions was forbidden, though. Altogether, the Guggenheim museum was a great experience. I will come again.

Have a look also at my Bilbao photo album and at my blog post on Spanish tapas.
